Update

Hello all. I figured it was about time I gave you an update on our doings. We are still working on a script for Java Freaks, but should be done before too long. We decided to write and shoot a full length movie, then cut it down for short film status as well. We are really excited to get this one done so look forward to our completion soon.

Sad to Report

Sad to report that we've had to nix Needles in a Fountain. For now. Just too much going on this month for us to deal with. We wanted to get it done by December 5th so we could enter it into the Desert Reel Film Festival but we're never going to get post production done by then. I figure Estes needs at least a few weeks to score the music so I don't want to put too much pressure on him first time outs.

Java Freaks will make a much better first film for us anyway. Apolgies to all who had comitted to doing Needles. We love ya! And we still plan to shoot Needles (no pun intended) but not until after Java Freaks is in the can.

Next Short Film

Brady and I have come up with the general premise for our next short film we're going to call Java Freaks. Filming for this short film won't be scheduled until January or February and should involve just a a few nights of shooting. We've scouted a location and we will meet with the owners soon to see if they will let us use their place.

I'm going to try and get scripts out to the actors by the beginning of next week for Needles in a Fountain. Times ticking away on that one. We're only a few weeks away.
